How can someone become a member?
In order to become a member you must complete an
application form or you can contact the club's
secretary and request a form.
Our club's Secretary can be contacted as follows:
Marie LaPointe
161 Old Boston Post Road
Old Saybrook, CT 06475
860-395-1502
The application requires a sponsor who is a member in
good standing of The New England Rhodesian Club.
Frequently this sponsor is the breeder from whom you got
your Rhodesian Ridgeback but this is not a requirement.
You can come to an event to meet other members and find
a sponsor. Please consider this an invitation to come to
future events and to join the Club.
Before completing the application please take the time
to read the Code of Ethics on the application. Your
signature indicates your intent to abide be the Code of
Ethics as a member of The New England Rhodesian
Ridgeback Club.
When does membership begin if someone decides to
apply?
Once your application is received, your name will be
placed on the club's mailing list. You will then receive
the Club's newsletter, "The Ridgeline" which includes
information about upcoming events. You will also receive
flyers with more details including directions to the
events. Please consider attending in order to meet
members of the Club and for the membership to welcome
you.
Your application will be announced at the business
meeting accompanying the next event after it is received
or your name will be published in the next issue of "The
Ridgeline", which ever comes first. After your name has
been published in the clubs newsletter, the actual vote
on your membership will be done by the Board.
What if I have more questions about the Club?
